Hi we've just returned from a lovely weekend at Greenway. So sorry we forgot to come and say thank you but with tired children it was best to get them off home!
Thank you for a lovely weekend. Facilities were excellent with hot and clean showers and toilets 24/7.
Although we didn't sample food from the cafe as we took so much food with us to cater for an army we will definitely be coming back next year and perhaps do it the easy way and eat in the cafe as it sure did look lovely.
Many thanks once again

We came and stayed 3 days in August in the new glamping pod and we must say Dave and Lorraine have made a fantastic job of it. Its the 3rd one we've stayed and is by far the best, finished to an extremely high standard, immaculate and with everything you need, very warm very comfortable and a fridge to keep your beer cool. We've been camping for years and although the kids dont want to come with us we still want to camp, must say Greenway is a lovely site very clean and very tidy, the wardens Ron and Margaret were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are first class and the toilet and shower blocks were immaculately clean, everything we look for in a site.
We came to the forest of Dean to do some cycling around the forest and along the Wye to Symonds Yat we weren't disappointed, stunning countryside great accomodation all in all a great break. Many Thanks we will do it again next year.

We arrived home yesterday and I just wanted to drop you a short message to thank you all for a fantastic week. The site and facilities are second-to-none and Ron and Margaret are probably the most helpful and friendly wardens we've ever come across - they are a credit to the site and were so hard working though always with a smile.
We'll definitely be back!!
Thanks again,
Carole and Lynda

Just a note to say what a lovely weekend we had camping at Greenway Farm. Your campsite is delightful and facilities are 5 star! Our families had breakfast at the cafe both mornings as the food was so good! It was lovely to see all the Morris Minor cars lined up around the camping field! We will definitely book again!
Many thanks,

We stayed with you on Saturday night, it was our first camping experience and we'd probably amend what we bring with us next time, however your campsite was perfect, now everywhere we go will have to live up to that. The families really enjoyed themselves and the children had a ball. Thank you once again.

yet again a wonderful welcome from lorraine, she is such a pleasure, hard working doing gardens and generally looking after this 6 STAR site...(i know but there should be 6 stars) even though the weather was not all that, this site is so placed that its surrounding are relaxing and enjoyable, all the facilities at the site are 1st class but I under stand that over the winter months there are going to be some serious upgrades......for me this can only mean that this site will rise from being 6 star -7star........there is disabled facilities (own wet bathing/ tiolet room) which is spotlessly clean.......(no smelly nappies where Mum's can't be bothered to put in rubbish area like at other sites) every last detail has been thought of and any that have not lorranie is open to surgestions....
.as regards the Cafe very good food, great breakfast. just a little tad expensive for a family i suspect...great staff.....
see you all soon .......Annie

I stayed with my son on the 27th july 2010 for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. I am new to camping and found the facilities there very handy. Showers are clean and hot and the toilets are expemplary. I ate at the Cafe nearly every day and it was very good. The food is all sourced locally and is very well priced. The steak was delicious. I met with Dave and Lorraine and found them to be very welcoming and informative. I can't praise them enough for an excellent stay. If you want a great campsite close to all the attractions then look no further. Brilliant! Definately returning very soon. Richard. Thank you guys!

Hi! I've never camped before and I have had such a wonderful time. We didn't have a pitch with electric, instead we had some wonderful goats and a rather spotty pig. I liked the way the tent pitches were around the edge of the field and that left alot of space for the chidlren to play. Thank you!

Just arrived home after a very pleasing 3-night stay at Greenway farm.
Site is very clean, tidy and spacious.
Shower facilities are very nice and cleaned regulary. Heating in the shower blocks is a nice touch.
Lovely views of the surrounding countryside and very handy for access to the forest for walking and other leisure activities.
Level pitches and seemed to be plenty of EHU's (we were in the tent field which is very close to the toilet / shower facilities).
Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we hope to see you again very soon!
We had such a wonderful stay at Greneway Farm. The owners David and Lorraine are such lovely, amenable people.
They took the time to personally entertain us which was way above the call of duty.
We loved the goats and the views were absolutely stunning.
Showering facilities are important to us and they obviously are to the owners as well because the facilities were first class.
We didn't use the on site restaurant because we were visiting friends in the area but we so wanted to because the food smelt delicious and everyone we saw coming out looked well pleased.
Having mistaken the gents for the ladies we can vouch for the male facilities too.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just got back from spening bank holiday weekend at Greenway Farm and it was a fantastic place to stay. We had electric hook up, the pitches are good sizes and well spaced out. I loved the fact that the centre of the field was empty giving lovely open views. The showers and toilet block were really nice and always warm.
The cafe was lovely, the food fantastic. I loved the fact that there was flexi time on when you could leave, it was nice to pack up in our own time and not feel rushed.
Would reccommend it and will be back.

We managed to get a pitch at Greenways in the last minute due to a cancellation and what brilliant good fortune for us that we did! Lorraine and the other staff were so helpful and friendly both at the time of booking and when on site. The location of the site has splendid views of the countryside and there is plenty of glorious space for the children to run wild. The showers/toilets were wonderfully clean and modern with no queues despite the fact that the site was quite full. The staff at the cafe were also very cheerful and accomodating; the menu caters for all tastes (not just burgers and chips) and it was a real bonus to have that facility on the doorstep. We especially liked the fact that we could pitch up anywhere we liked and there was no pressure about leaving at an exact time on the day of departure. A lot of thought and consideration has been put into the design of this site. We give a well deserved 10 /10 to Greenways and are already planning another visit as soon as we can.
Thank you very much!

On 14th July we arrived for a week at Greenway Camping Park with another couple. What a beautiful camp site! Although we had a very wet week, we enjoyed the clean, well designed shower block, & the friendly cafe, where one particularly wet morning we enjoyed a splendid full English breakfast. It was lovely to see the little kids (baby goats) in their field & their own caravan! It was a great place to visit Ross on Wye, Gloucester, & Monmouth & the Forest of Dean. We would warmly recommend this campsite.
